Red Nova Labs' Venture Friday is partnering up with KC Startup Village, Kauffman Foundation, Think Big Partners, Office Port and BetaBlox to put on the metro's first Startup Crawl, showcasing six startup community hotspots all in one night:

Interested in the Kansas City tech and startup community? This is an opportunity to take a one-night tour of several new companies, meet the teams, see the workspaces, talk to the founders, and network among area entrepreneurs and supporters.

The goal of this event is to make the Kansas City startup arena even more accessible to local hopefuls and new arrivals. We’re opening the doors to the most ambitious young tech companies, accelerators and support system so that interested entrepreneurs, developers, designers, tech folks, and the generally curious community of Kansas City can see how they are organized and operated. But more importantly, you can learn their stories. Understand how companies manage to grow from 3 to 50 people in a year and aspire to achieve the same feat.

Bring your friends, business cards and friendly curiosity. And plan to enjoy a drink or two! 

The event is organized and sponsored by Red Nova Labs—Kansas City tech startup and host of Venture Fridays entrepreneur happy hours. Optional donations are being accepted to help cover the costs of transportation and beverages.

Doors open at 4:00 p.m. Shuttles will depart four locations* at 4:30 p.m. They will circle the route, stopping at each location on approximately half-hour intervals. The last shuttle will drop off at the last stop by 10:00 p.m. You can pick up the shuttle at any spot any time on the route.

Weston Brewing Co. making an appearance at the KCSV location.
